Our goal was to boost awareness and engagement on TikTok and Instagram Reels by activating regional influencers across seven Country Thunder and Big Valley Jamboree (BVJ) branded music festivals. These influencers created authentic, on-brand content that sparked social buzz, captured each festival’s essence, and connected deeply with diverse audiences. We were able to utilize this content further for paid media resulting in ticket sales for the client.

Overall Festival Approach

We activated a network of regional influencers on TikTok and Instagram Reels, delivering posts that generated more than 8 million views. By leveraging the authentic voices of these influencers, we captured engaging and immersive content at Country Thunder and Big Valley Jamboree. 

This approach amplified each festival’s presence on key short-form video platforms, boosting their visibility and reinforcing their brand positions within the digital landscape.

Ticket Sales

For the Florida leg of the Country Thunder festival, we implemented a targeted paid media strategy to convert social engagement into direct ticket sales. 

By strategically boosting select influencer content within key verticals, we maximized reach to high-potential audiences and created a clear path to purchase. This involved carefully selecting the most impactful influencer posts, which resonated strongly with the target demographic, and amplifying their reach through paid media.

Our boosted campaigns targeted specific audience segments, including country music fans, festival enthusiasts, and locals in surrounding areas likely to attend the event. By tailoring our content placements, we were able to engage users who were more likely to convert, optimizing both relevance and cost-efficiency.

This approach proved highly effective, directly contributing to ticket sales with a cost per acquisition (CPA) under $300 on a $630 Average Order value – over 2X ROAS.

By leveraging data-driven insights to guide our boosts, we maximized ROI while driving net new ticket purchases, reinforcing the effectiveness of influencer content as a conversion tool within the festival space.

We launched an engaging user-generated content challenge, using our Genni Direct platform to Win, offering participants the chance to win two Platinum Experience Tickets and exclusive meet-and-greet opportunities at Country Thunder Florida. This initiative encouraged festival-goers to showcase their excitement for the event, resulting in a significant content boost.

  • Creators were required to use music from one of the performing Country Thunder Florida artists.
  • Each entry had to mention Country Thunder Florida, either verbally or through text overlay.
