We worked with Kidd G & his labelby launching a Songfluencer campaign coinciding with the launch of pre-saves, and into the official release of his new single “People Talk” at the beginning of April 2022.
We partnered with 50 creators in the country music space to increase awareness of the track in this subculture, and ultimately to help increase overall streams across DSPs.
Kidd G posted 15+ times and many creators did 3-4 uses of the song.
This works because:
If the creator posts more than one time it feels more authentic than hopping on as a trend. More like they are endorsing the sound/song.
The more uses a sound gets, the more algorithmic action is created on-platform, resulting in more FYP appearances, and availability for discovery.
The number of posts featuring “People Talk” has increased +140% following the launch of the Songfluencer campaign, including Songfluencer posts that went up on March 31, April 2, April 5, and April 8.
Kidd G’s “People Talk” has seen increased streams since the start of the campaign, including 158.7K single-day streams on April 15, 2022.
